The diversity of the human voice can be admired every other summer at the Tampere Vocal Music Festival, where choirs and vocal ensembles take the stage. Since 1975, the Tampere Vocal Music Festival has successfully combined old and new, including pop music, traditional choral signing and even beatboxing, to name a few examples. The unique festival culminates in the finals of the Chorus Review and the Contest for Vocal Ensembles. The various workshops and free concerts organised during the festival draw audience interested in vocal music from around the world.
