Since 2020 Kangasala Classic Chamber Music Festival has invited top classical musicians to perform in the beautiful surroundings of Kangasala city.
The four-day festival offers high-quality and versatile concert experiences. In addition to traditional chamber music concerts, the program includes free outdoor concerts, a children’s concert and interdisciplinary performances. The main venues are Kangasala Arts Centre and the beautiful churches of Kangasala, Kuhmalahti and Sahalahti.
In the summer 2024 the festival expands to Pälkäne, where a concert is held in a historical venue: Church of St. Michael.
The artistic director of the festival is violist Elina Heikkinen.
