Capable and Inclusive Event project
The Capable and Inclusive Event project by Tampere Region Festivals aims to improve the accessibility of volunteer activities at cultural events and festivals in the Tampere region (Pirkanmaa). The project offers free training for local event organizers, identifies areas for development in the organization, management, and marketing of volunteer activities, and promotes collaboration on volunteer work between events, municipalities, and actors in the social and healthcare sector.
The project is funded by the Council of Tampere Region (Pirkanmaan liitto) through the AKKE fund for sustainable growth and regional vitality. The project runs from April 2024 to March 2026.
